Through my practice I aim to intrigue and reflect a feeling of magic and enchantment. I am inspired by crowns and coronets which initially came from my interest in Lewis Carroll and his tales of Alice in Wonderland. I am also inspired by buildings, castles and fairytale imagery. I look at interesting methods of construction and unique ways of wearing pieces. My designs are decorative and colourful using precious and semi precious stones. My work reflects me and my passion for embellishment, colour and individuality.
My personal interests are varied. I enjoy my volunteering for the National trust over the summer months, particularly the outdoor conservation work, the travelling, working in a team and meeting like minded people.
